BACP Accredited
I am accredited with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). This is a professional qualification ensuring a high standard of practice. There is an annual requirement to provide evidence of ongoing learning and supervision as a means of providing a safe environment for people who are in distress. You can find me on the BACP website (www.bacp.co.uk) in the "Find a Therapist" section. A counsellor who is BACP accredited will be shaded in grey.
Guild of Psychotherapists
I have completed a four-year training in analytic psychotherapy with the Guild of Psychotherapists (www.guildofpsychotherapists.org.uk) and am now working towards final requirements and qualification. This is an extensive training with close supervision and includes a personal analysis.
